Achin Vanaik - Myths About Israel
Professor Achin Vanaik is a Professor of International Relations and Global Politics in the Political Science Department of Delhi University. He is an independent scholar and journalist, and was an assistant editor of the Times of India. He was a visiting professor of Political Science at the Academy of Third World Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia University. His areas of study and involvement include matters of religion, secularism, communalism, foreign policy and nuclear disarmament, as well as globalization and international politics. In Britain he was active in the anti-racist and anti-imperialist movements of the 1960s and 1970s. In India he has been involved in anti-communal and civil liberties issues, and nuclear disarmament. He was on the Board of Directors of Greenpeace, India and was a co-recipient of the Sean MacBride International Peace Prize for the year 2000.
